A happily married couple, involving a simple village girl and her good looking actor husband, face a turbulent challenge when the wife's younger sister gets infatuated with her sisters husband.

Kota Srinivasa Rao is a wealthy man, with poor relatives waiting for him to die so that they can get their hands on his money. Kota wants to get married so that he can leave his health to an heir. However his relatives hamper all his efforts to get married. He decides to evade them by leaving his home and moving to another place. He also adopts a young girl Chandraprabha (Rupa Kala), with the intention of marrying her when she grows up. He installs her in a home with 2 servants as caretakers. The film follows brothers Chettan Bava and Aniyan Bava, and their driver Premachandran with whom the daughters of both the Bavas fall in love. This makes the Bavas enemies and it becomes their issue of pride on who will marry Premachandran. On top of this includes Sundaran trying to take Premachandran down.
